[Summer 2010] Ne1co received an invitation to provide visuals and screen designs for Leftfield's comeback tour this summer, headlining a string of European festivals, including LED in Victoria Park, London. More info and samples coming soon. [top]

[Ongoing] Ne1co are collaborating once more with 1024 and Godskitchen to not only operate the boombox visual during a grueling year long touring schedule but we have also come in as content producers to refresh and upgrade last year's amazing visual paraphernalia. Ne1co's Ed Shaw recently returned from tour dates in Guadalajara, Montreal and Buenos Aires. He's soon continuing with gigs around Europe and South Africa before taking on a second South American tour later in the year. [view sample] [top]

[coming soon] Ne1co were once again granted an Above & Beyond commission, producing tour visuals promoting their next Anjunabeats album. Their Vol.8 release is celebrating a recent accomplishment: one of their tracks (Buzz) was selected as the soundtrack to Virgin Galactic's promotional launch video. Since this is all about a new dawn of civilian space travel, do expect similarly themed visuals on A&B's next few gigs. [view sample] [top]

[April 2010]
Word is getting out to the fashion industry that Ne1co do catwalks. EZRA being Ne1co's third runway show in 12 months, the hat trick gig featured Ne1co produced animations as video intro to an extravagant display of dresses fit for red carpet premieres, hosted at the heart of Dubai's business district. [June 2010] Oli Sorenson is invited by Austria's top VJs 4yourEye to show at Salon Projektionist, their new space in central Vienna. This is Sorenson's first solo gallery exhbition in a few years. As a show title, Anti-Mapping is adding a new twist to the ever popular mapping VJ theme. Instead of offering a pixel perfect match between projection and physical objects, Sorenson proposes more dalogue between the two by allowing accidental distortions, and effects reminiscent of optical art in painting.

[Coming up] VJing and AV performance are now at the crest of another popularity wave, unseen since the early 2000s, judging by the recent attendance records in workshops and tutorials. Magnifying this enthusiasm, Ne1co's most exciting project coming up is with AVin, an online tutorial program curated by LightRhythm Visuals, due live by the end of 2010. More news [top]
